Princess P.e.a

Princess P.E.A. The Positive Energy Amplifier (EPK)

Princess P.E.A. (Positive Energy Amplifier) is an emerging artist whose music embodies resilience, healing, and the power of positive energy.

Shaped by early trauma, family support, and a lifelong bond with music, she’s stepping into the spotlight with her debut single, “I Thrive,” and a second track in progress.

Her journey—from poverty and separation to self-discovery and creative rebirth—fuels her mission to help others find strength in their own voices.

Early Life and Family Influence

Born into a single-parent household, Princess P.E.A. leaned on her three older brothers—Avion Howard, Thomas Chamberlain, and Chauncey Chamberlain Godson—for stability while her mother, Stefanie Farley, juggled work and college. Her father’s death in fifth grade deepened her reliance on her brothers, who unknowingly shaped her musical roots.

Avion’s drumming and beatboxing filled the house with rhythm, Thomas’s gospel piano sparked her love for keyboards, and Chauncey’s later work as a rap producer helping her develop her sound and producing her first single, "I Thrive". Together, they formed “Hokey Mask Niggas” in the ‘90s. While her brothers were building their music careers, she immersed herself in silent studio sessions where she played the piano and dreamed of performing.

Family Influence

School posed challenges—she struggled with communication, social cues, and attendance, often falling behind. Visits to her extended family offered reprieve. Her grandmother, Carrie Farley—a schoolteacher, actress, and poet—instilled discipline and creativity through her poem “I am the Drum” and stage performances.

Her Aunt Stephanie bolstered her academics with *Hooked on Phonics*, while Aunt Georgette’s jazz-filled home became a sanctuary. There, she listened to her uncle, Eddie Gale—San Jose’s Official Ambassador of Jazz—practice trumpet, finding peace as her aunt braided her hair. Eddie’s philosophy, “I thank God for expressing music through me, and I share it in peace and love,” left a lasting imprint.

Coping Through Music and Dissociation

At age ten, separation from her immediate family thrust Princess P.E.A. into isolation and poverty a mindset. She turned to dissociation to cope, but music became her lifeline. Eddie’s jazz, her brothers’ beats, and her own piano playing provided solace amid traumas.

As the only girl brought up in a religious household, she often felt alone even with family, channeling her solitude into poetry and sound. With limited resources and her mother raising three kids alone, her musical ambitions were hidden in school choirs and performing arts.

Gospel Influence

Reuniting with her family reignited her creative spark. Her mother enrolled them in church choirs, and her brothers pursued their musical paths—Thomas with gospel hits like “Gospel Skate Night,”

Thomas Chamberlain, known as Water Man and the second oldest brother, inspired the young Princess P.E.A. with his passion for playing the church piano.

Rap Influence

Godson

In 2000, Chauncey Chamberlain Godson, her third oldest brother, became a rap music producer in San Diego, launching his career with the group "The Pack of Blacks" and introducing the San Diego community to underground rap. He later collaborated with artists like E-40, Nipsey Hussle, Andra Day, and Suga Free.

During the 90s, her three brothers formed the group "Hokey Mask Niggas," performing locally and working with other artists. Princess P.E.A. was deeply immersed in this vibrant musical environment, often attending their practices and studio sessions. This exposure sparked her passion for the piano, inspiring her to spend hours playing and dreaming of performing for large audiences.

Developing Skills

Emotional Skills

In 2003, she married her high school sweetheart, Ronald (Ronnie) Amerson, a beatmaker inspired by her brothers' music. Ronnie reignited her love for music, but with the birth of their son, Camron, and Ronald’s deployment to Iraq in 2006, she shifted focus to parenting and pursued humanitarian careers.

Physical Skills

In 2013, she served as a firefighter in Atlanta before transitioning to a medic role in Las Vegas. Later, she became a mental health case manager and, in 2020, earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Mental Skills

Mental Skills

While pursuing a master’s in Cognitive Behavioral Psychology, she was promoted to Assistant Director for Easter Seals of Nevada (now Capability Health), where she developed therapeutic activities and a garden for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The Birth of Princess Pea's Garden

The onset of COVID-19 led to the closure of her workplace, stirring fears of homelessness and echoing childhood separation.  The loss of Uncle Eddie on July 10, 2020, deepened her grief. To cope, she cultivated a home garden, growing sweet peas, lettuce, and herbs like lavender and valerian for teas.

Her husband's encouragement—serving her teas with uplifting words—inspired Princess Pea’s Garden, a venture offering affirmation herbal teas for the seven chakras. This provided emotional and brief financial stability.

Therapy during this time uncovered ADHD, unresolved trauma, and maladaptive daydreaming tied to dissociation. Determined to heal, she studied medicinal plants, returned to the piano, and leaned on her brothers’ support. Her husband's positivity and her own resilience pulled her back to music, reigniting her passion.

Healing and Self-Discovery

Princess P.E.A. immersed herself in cognitive behavioral therapy, exploring physics, energy, and spiritual principles from figures like Neville Goddard. She learned to reframe her thoughts, manage triggers, and embrace a truth: we create our reality by embodying who we choose to be.

In 2024, as a Senior Flower Technician at Green Thumb Industries, freestyle sessions with coworkers revived her musical drive. With her brothers’ backing, she crafted “I Thrive,” a piano-led anthem promoting self-confidence and rootedness.

Princess P.E.A.’s Music Is Her Message:

"We are not our thoughts, and our voices hold power."

Inspired by her journey—from trauma to triumph—she aims to amplify positive energy, helping listeners tune into their own frequency. With heartfelt lyrics and soulful melodies, she’s building a movement of healing and self-belief.

Plants provide everything we need. Not just for the body, but for the mind and soul.
